El 2 de junio, un tribunal egipcio condenó a cadena perpetua al ex presidente Hosni Mubarak. Mubarak, de ochenta y cuatro (84) años, fue declarado culpable por permitir la matanza de al menos ochocientos (800) manifestantes durante el levantamiento contra el gobierno en Egipto en 2011.
